Greek IPTV Manufacturer Intracom have confirmed that they have won a major supply contract to Atlanta based Butler Bremer Communications. This is fantastic News for the Blue chip Greek owned Manufacturer of Telecommunications equipment in cash strapped Greece. This specialist Manufacturer has been able to trade in what can only be described as a very tough market, although specializing and having key export markets has kept Intracom very busy and able to trade. A spokesperson for Butler-Bremer said "We are now able to incorporate around 225 1080p HD channels at economical conditions that the HD channels are free for IPTV subscribers" well that kind of News gets big thumbs up from TV enthusiasts.

Cheap works! With Orange only charging 10 euro a month for IPTV, many clients find that this is too good a deal to pass up as Orange enjoys increased new clients via its broadband service in Spain. As Company's such as CANAL+ are loosing clients and then screwing them by sending in "heavy handed" debt collectors who harass ex-clients for massive penalty fees and call up at 11pm in the evening and scream down the phone at you and keep calling late at night waking up children after cash strapped clients cancel contracts loose day on day, Orange along with there network of mobile phone dealers are increasing the client base. Hopefully if SKY can buy a share in Canal+ they will sack the sick & twisted Management who are simply modern day bandits as they treat clients like dirt and are cashing in on Spanish families that are struggling to make ends meet who decide to cancel Canal+ only to be hit with extortionate bills, claims that Canal+ had tried to collect the set top box on fictitious occasions and generally acting in a nasty way. (We do not like Canal+)

It's official! SKY (BKYB) Have signed a deal with Yahoo.

Yahoo! The internet search engine have signed a contract with SKY that provides and exclusive agreement to provide online hosting for the SKY TV "Sunrise" TV show as part of an ongoing deal that will provide Yahoo with world wide IPTV Broadcasting rights.

 

Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer was a key player in ensuring that the deal with SKY UK went smoothly with her saying that "With the growth of IPTV, SKY UK (BSKYB) will develop in to a strategic partner for UK IPTV content in Europe" A member of the British SKY TV team said "This is a great deal for both parties"

the News helped boost BSKYB shares with many investors happy about the deal between the two Media Giants. Long term benefits to SKY include enhanced Marketing possibilities with Yahoo.
