Not wanting to sit still and allow Google, Youtube and Yahooo to run targeted advertising.



BSKYB UK SKY TV have decided to participate in the world of targeted advertising and are in the process of launching a new way of streaming advertisements to SKY TV viewers that have a SKY+HD BOX.

The new advertsing platform is known as adsmart and will cut in and take over traditional advertising slots instead of the usual UK TV adverts.

Astra 2E Satellite is to be placed in storage following the recent Proton Rocket Crash it has been confirmed that the Astra 2E satellite will be delayed in launch and placed in a secure storage facility whilst engineers carry out lengthy tests and examine data in order to establish why a recent launch resulted in $200 Million dollars of satellites being blown up shortly after launch. Whilst most of people where horrified by the explosion of this unmanned rocket, many residents on the Costa del Sol took a sigh of relief as the arrival of Astra 2E at 28.2 East would have resulted in the Loss of UK TV in Spain's Costa del Sol.

Television Broadcasters join ranks and ban new Panasonic advertisement for SMART TV in Tokyo, Japan. The new generation on LED SMART TELEVISION resulted in Broadcasters refusing to run the advertisement this week. A source close to Broadcasting bosses said that the advert has been banned due

to Broadcasters claiming that the advertisement for a "twin" screen

option that allows the viewer to watch Broadcasted TV at the same time as IPTV would confuse the viewer. Why have the Japanese Broadcasters taken this stance? It is our opinion that they do not want to loose out on advertising revenue as viewers will be able to seamlessly switch between "live national TV" and streamed IPTV content in between TV shows where you would normally be subjected to 5/6 minutes of advertisements.
