"Intel Corp Negotiates IPTV Deal" IPTV SPAIN
Intel the famous micro chip Manufacturer enters the IPTV arena.
Intel Corporation have got the cheque book out and are looking to purchase IPTV content for there new IPTV service that will initially be based in the USA although there are plans to roll out IPTV systems in Europe and South America, with talk of having a IPTV Head office in Spain and Marketing Team for IPTV in Portugal.
Intel Corp are aggressively offering prices 50% more than what traditional terrestrial Broadcasters would pay and many Production Companies and TV show rights holders are clambering to jump on the Intel big pay day as they sell off old and new TV shows.
Intel Corporation are worth Billions & Billions of dollars and are not shy when making there intentions known and with IPTV Executives waiving the Intel Corp cheque book around the TV & Media Companies are eager to get there snouts in the trough.
That said; Intel have not yet secured any Media content for its new IPTV service is it perhaps because the big 3 want to keep such a mammoth Corporate giant like Intel out of the picture? Wonder if certain studio Executives have had a friendly game of Golf and decided to black ball Intel? This is all speculation.
We contacted ABC, Disney, Viacom, CBS, News Corp, Time Warner and HBO but nobody was available to make an official comment.
